Peer Review Process

Each article will undergo a screening process using Turnitin Software. Next, the article will be reviewed by at least two individuals using a double-blind peer-review method. The decision to accept or reject an article is based on the Editorial Board's meeting results and feedback from the reviewers. The entire journal process, from submission to publication, takes approximately 3 months. Below is the process for publishing an article in the Jurnal Penelitian Geografi (JPG):

Open Access Statement - This journal provides direct open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public will support greater global knowledge exchange.                                                                         
 
The benefits of open access for authors include:

  • everyone has free and unrestricted access to the full text of all articles published in the journal Jurnal Penelitian Geografi;

  • everyone is free to reuse published material if proper accreditation/citation of the original publication is provided;

  • this open access publication is supported by the author's institution or research funding agency by paying a relatively low Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles.
